Parish was home, but far from the homeland, to the Polish immigrants who came to our land. They were looking for what our nation could offer, and at the same time wanted to keep and to profess the faith they have acquired in Poland. They needed a place where they could pray and hear the Word of God in their own language. Thanks to resilience their culture survived. They have made great sacrifices to build the House of God, and even more to maintain it. It was their home, but His first!
Thanks to the clergymen and seculars, who prayed in the parish of Our Lady of the Rosary for three quarters of a century, the parish acquired many faithful of God’s love, manifested to them through His Son, our Savior. They have repeatedly demonstrated their faith by participating in the Holy Eucharist.
